The Adult Forum is proud to host our More Light group. Come celebrate More Light Sunday with the newly formed More Light subcommittee here at First Presbyterian. You’ll have a chance to meet us, ask questions, and, most importantly, help us start to figure out how we can best serve lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and their families and friends both in the congregation and in the community at large. We need your help to get off to a good start. We need your help to figure out where to start.
It'll also be an opportunity for you to find out just what it means to be a More Light Presbyterian and to hear a report on the fate of the resolution at the 221st General Assembly in Detroit to amend the Book of Order to allow ministers to marry same-sex couples. We'll gather at 9:45, downstairs in Martin Hall. Please join us.
